Common Welfare Subcommittee
We are a subcommittee committed to safety, inclusion, open communication, and unity in our area. We can help with problem-solving, workshops, and more. We are focused on the common welfare of all addicts, and seek to find solutions to predatory or disruptive behavior, manipulation, intimidation, discrimination, and many more problems we may face. We believe we can use spiritual principles to find loving and compassionate solutions that are a product of recovery. While the newcomer is the most important person in any meeting, even addicts with time can find themselves in difficult waters to navigate alone. Our focus is in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for every addict seeking recovery.
Common Welfare Subcommittee Meetings and Location
The Common Welfare Subcommittee holds a meeting on Zoom monthly, on the Wednesday before Area (usually the last Wednesday of the month) at 6:00 pm, as well as additional meetings as needed.
